Lumenstones are only found on level 27 and deeper. They are worth 5000 points when you take them out of the dungeon, allowing you to ascend with a higher score. The game will also record how many lumenstones you ascended with, making a 25 lumenstone mastery the best possible win in Brogue.
Each lumenstone takes up inventory space, but lumenstones from the same level stack.
- Levels 27, 28, 29 contain 3 lumenstones each.
- Levels 30, 31, 32, 33, 34 contain 2 lumenstones each.
- Levels 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40 contain 1 lumenstone each.
This means that all 25 lumenstones take up 14 inventory spaces.
