The bolt from a wand of teleportation will teleport the targeted creature to someplace else on the current dungeon level. A potion of detect magic will reveal the wand to have a benevolent energy. A wand of teleportation will be found with 2 to 5 charges. Enchanting the wand will add 2 charges.
It will not turn an ally hostile. If used on a captive monster, the monster will be freed and become your ally.
You can teleport yourself with a wand of teleportation if its bolt is reflected from something and it hits you.
